* The real target of Jane's wrath is Bella, who is a half-vampire and possesses the scent that drives Jane's bloodlust.
While there's no physical torture inflicted on Bree, she is certainly caught in the crossfire and faces danger during the eclipse. However, Jane's actions are directed solely at Bella and her vampiric nature, not Bree.
