How did Patsy Cline die?

Patsy Cline died in a plane crash on March 5, 1963, near Camden, Tennessee. She was 30 years old. The plane, a Piper Comanche, was carrying Cline, her manager Randy Hughes, and two other musicians, Hawkshaw Hawkins and Cowboy Copas. The plane crashed shortly after takeoff from a nearby airport, killing all four passengers. The cause of the crash was never definitively determined, but investigators believe that the pilot, who was not instrument-rated, became disoriented in the dark and rainy conditions.
