What is cowboy Casanova about?

Cowboy Casanova is a 2009 Western film directed by Brett Leonard and starring Tim McGraw, Kelly Preston, and Robert Duvall. The film tells the story of Joe (McGraw), a charming cowboy with a reputation as a ladies' man, who finds himself at a crossroads when he meets Maria (Preston), a single mother from a small town.

When Maria's son is diagnosed with a rare heart condition requiring a heart transplant to save his life, Joe is determined to help his new love and becomes involved in a scheme to rob from a big-city Casino using his rodeo tricks. After a botched robbery, a ruthless Russian gangster begins hunting him down, leading Joe into an even deeper moral dilemma while realizing the true meaning of self-sacrifice, love and redemption.
