How does the character in of die?

In the movie "Die", the character portrayed by Tom Cruise does not die. He manages to survive until the end of the film, overcoming dangerous physical circumstances, escaping his enemies, and resolving some key aspects of the storyline involving a rogue terrorist and nuclear threat. In contrast to characters with similar names portrayed by the same actor in the movie titles Top Gun (2022) and Oblivion (2013), the character doesn't meet a fatal end in "Die".
