How can you explain the story of Romeo and Juliet in a short?

In fair Verona, two families, the Montagues and Capulets, are locked in a bitter feud. The young Romeo, a Montague, falls in love with Juliet, a Capulet. Because their love is forbidden, they secretly marry. Tybalt, Juliet's cousin, kills Romeo's best friend, Mercutio. In retaliation, Romeo kills Tybalt and is banished from Verona.

Juliet is distraught and takes a potion to make her appear dead to escape the arranged marriage her father has made for her. Romeo, hearing of her death, returns to Verona and kills himself. When Juliet awakes, she finds Romeo dead and stabs herself with his dagger.

The deaths of Romeo and Juliet finally end the feud between the two families.
