Eddie Murphy attended Roosevelt High School in Uniondale, New York, graduating in 1977. During high school, he performed impersonations of famous singers, celebrities, and politicians, frequently entertaining and impressing his classmates and teachers. Murphy was also a member of the school's junior varsity football team.
