Why do adults start to laugh at you or tell man up if them that like watch cartoons?

1. Lack of understanding: Some adults don't understand the appeal of cartoons or how they can be entertaining for people of all ages. They may view cartoons as childish or immature and therefore think it's funny or embarrassing for an adult to enjoy them.

2. Societal stereotypes: There is a pervasive stereotype that cartoons are only for children. This can make adults feel like they should "grow up" and stop enjoying cartoons in order to conform to societal expectations.

3. Fear of being judged: Adults may be worried about being judged or seen as childish by their peers or colleagues if they admit to enjoying cartoons. This fear of judgment can lead them to laugh at or make fun of others who are open about their love of cartoons.

4. Dismissive attitude: Some adults may simply dismiss cartoons as being low-quality entertainment and not worth taking seriously. They may view them as a waste of time or as something that only children should enjoy.

5. Generational differences: Older adults may have grown up in a time when cartoons were not as widely accepted or appreciated as they are today. They may have internalized the belief that cartoons are only for children and therefore find it difficult to accept that adults can enjoy them as well.

It's important to remember that enjoying cartoons is a personal preference and that there's no shame in finding joy in something that you find entertaining, regardless of your age.
