Does Robert stranger in a strange land get its title from Eugene long journey into night?

The answer is no.

The title of Robert Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange Land comes from the famous phrase "a stranger in a strange land" which was used by the English poet Rudyard Kipling in his 1897 novel "Captains Courageous". On the other hand, Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night is a play written in 1941 and has no connection to the title of Heinlein's novel.
