Becky G speaks English and Spanish. She was born in Inglewood, California, to Mexican parents, and grew up speaking both languages. She began singing in Spanish at a young age, and released her first Spanish-language album, "Sola", in 2013. She has since released two more Spanish-language albums, "Esquemas" (2022) and "Mala Santa" (2022). Becky G has also released several English-language songs, including "Shower" (2014), "Mayores" (2017), and "Sin Pijama" (2018).
