DC Comics has its own superhero with similar abilities to Spider-Man, though. His name is Blue Beetle, and he has the ability to fly, shoot energy blasts, and has super strength.
It's easy to confuse the two because of the shared "spider-like" abilities, but they are from different comic book universes.
