Who has the copyright for Superman?

The copyright for Superman is currently held by DC Comics, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery.

While Superman's original creation is credited to Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, they sold the rights to their character to National Comics Publications (which later became DC Comics) in 1938.

Note: There have been legal disputes and ownership changes throughout Superman's history, but DC Comics currently holds the copyright.
