Tom Kenny

Thomas James Kenny (born July 13, 1962) is an American actor, comedian, and voice actor. He is best known as the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants in the Nickelodeon animated series of the same name, as well as Patchy the Pirate, the show's live-action host. Kenny has also voiced many other characters in various animated series and films, including Heffer Wolfe in Rocko's Modern Life, the Ice King in Adventure Time, and Dog in CatDog.

Kenny was born in East Syracuse, New York. He began his career in show business as a stand-up comedian in the early 1980s. He first gained attention for his work on the sketch comedy show The State, which aired on MTV from 1993 to 1995. Kenny has also appeared in a number of films, including The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004), The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015), and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run (2020).

In addition to his acting work, Kenny is also a musician and songwriter. He has released several albums of his own music, and he has also written songs for other artists, including SpongeBob SquarePants. Kenny is married to actress Jill Talley, and they have two children.
