Proper way to adrress a couple does the mans name go first or ladys ie Bob and Carol Bob?

The traditional way to address a couple is to use the husband's name first, followed by the wife's name. For example, you would address Bob and Carol Smith as "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" or "Bob and Carol Smith."

However, in some cases, it may be more appropriate to use the wife's name first. For example, if the wife is more well-known than the husband, or if the couple is not married, you may want to address them by the wife's name first. For example, you would address Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick as "Ms. Parker and Mr. Broderick" or "Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick."

Ultimately, the best way to address a couple is to use the way that they prefer to be addressed. If you are not sure which way is preferred, you can always ask them.
