Michael Turner (August 21, 1960 – October 3, 2016) Turner was Tina Turner's eldest child, whom she adopted in 1960 after marrying Ike. Michael's biological father was Raymond Hill, a saxophonist who was a member of Ike Turner's band. Michael also followed in his parents' footsteps and became a musician, playing guitar and keyboards. He was also a songwriter and record producer. In the early 1980s, he formed the band Steppenwolf (not to be confused with the Canadian rock band of the same name) and released several albums. He also wrote and produced songs for other artists, including Tina Turner. Michael struggled with drug addiction for much of his life, and he also spent time in prison for drug-related offenses. He passed away from a drug overdose in 2016 at the age of 56.
Craig Raymond Turner (August 19, 1958 – July 3, 2018) Turner was Tina Turner's youngest child, whom she also adopted in 1960. Craig's biological father was saxophonist Raymond Hill, the same man who fathered Michael Turner. Craig did not pursue a career in music like his siblings, but he did work in the entertainment industry as a talent manager. He also managed his mother's career for a time. Craig struggled with drug addiction and mental health issues throughout his life. He passed away from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in 2018 at the age of 59.
