When did William Shakespeare returned to Stratford?

There is no record of William Shakespeare returning to his birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon, after he moved to London in 1585 to pursue his career in the theater. Shakespeare resided primarily in London throughout his lifetime, where he became a prominent playwright, actor, and poet. He often visited Stratford, particularly in his later years, but there is no evidence to suggest that he permanently returned there.
