What opinion of Macbeth do the scottish lords now hold?
After the death of Duncan, the Scottish lords initially hold Macbeth in high regard, as he is praised for his bravery and loyalty in defeating the invading forces. However, this opinion changes over the course of the play as Macbeth's actions and behavior become increasingly tyrannical and ruthless. The lords become disillusioned with Macbeth's leadership and begin to question his ability to rule justly and wisely.
