Who died in Hamlet?

In the play "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare, several characters die:

1. King Hamlet: Hamlet's father, the former King of Denmark. He was murdered by his brother Claudius, who then married his wife Gertrude and took the throne.

2. Polonius: The Lord Chamberlain of Denmark and father of Ophelia and Laertes. He is killed by Hamlet when he is hiding behind the arras in Gertrude's chamber, eavesdropping on Hamlet's conversation with his mother.

3. Ophelia: Polonius's daughter and Hamlet's love interest. She descends into madness after her father's death and eventually drowns herself in a river.

4. Laertes: Polonius's son and Ophelia's brother. He returns to Denmark to avenge his father's death and challenges Hamlet to a duel.

5. Gertrude: Hamlet's mother and the Queen of Denmark. She is poisoned by Claudius when she accidentally drinks from the poisoned cup meant for Hamlet.

6. Claudius: The King of Denmark and Hamlet's uncle. He has murdered Hamlet's father and married his mother. He is killed by Hamlet in the final duel.

7. Hamlet: The protagonist of the play, the Prince of Denmark. He is eventually killed in the duel with Laertes, with both of them fatally wounded by poisoned weapons.
