Harry and Ron find the Flying Ford Anglia in the Shrieking Shack in the grounds of Hogwarts in *Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets*.

They had previously crashed the car into a Whomping Willow tree outside the school, and it ended up hidden in the Shack, which was connected to the Whomping Willow by a secret passage.
