How does Horatio die in hamlet?

Horatio does not die in Shakespeare's Hamlet. He is the only major character to survive the play.

In the final scene, after Hamlet and the other main characters have perished, Horatio is left alive to recount the tragic events to the audience. He is the one who delivers the play's closing lines, ensuring that Hamlet's story is told and that the truth of his suffering is not forgotten.
