A green and yellow basket.
I wrote a letter to my love,
And on the way I dropped it.
A rabbit picked the letter up
And hopped along to my love's door.
Knocked on the door with his tiny paw
And dropped the letter on the floor.
My love picked up the letter
And started reading right away.
Smiled and put the letter in her pocket,
And went and found the writer straight away.
A-tisket, a-tasket,
A green and yellow basket.
I found my love and gave her my basket,
And in return she gave me her heart.
