Alyson "Aly" Michalka and Amanda Joy "AJ" Michalka, known collectively as Aly & AJ, are American singer-songwriters and actresses. The sisters are best known for their hit songs "Potential Breakup Song", "Like Whoa", and "Chemicals React". They have released four studio albums, including their debut album, Into the Rush (2005), which was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Aly & AJ have been on hiatus since 2009, but they have occasionally reunited for performances and released new music. In 2017, they released a new single, "Take Me", and in 2018, they released their fourth studio album, A Touch of the Beat Gets You Up on Your Feet Gets You Out and Then Into the Sun.

As of 2022, Aly & AJ are still performing and recording music together. They have been releasing new singles and music videos, and they have also been performing live shows. They are currently working on their fifth studio album.

In addition to their music careers, Aly & AJ have also had successful careers as actresses. They have both appeared in a number of films and television shows, including the Disney Channel series Phil of the Future.
