How to Sing Solid Notes

Inhale fully and properly. This involves inhaling into your stomach from the bottom up. Avoid quick expansion of the rib cage because it results in a shallow air reserve that will be harder to control, in addition to possible throat tension.

Start to sing a note. Let it flow in an unaltered fashion like a controlled exhaling.

Maintain good muscle support of the breath that you draw upon as you sing. Gradually tighten your stomach and abdomen muscles as the air leaves you while singing. Good diaphragm control is also important in keeping the tone steady.
