What is a singing band?

A singing band is a musical ensemble that features vocalists as well as instrumentalists. The vocalists are typically the lead singers of the band and are responsible for providing the main melody and lyrics of the songs. The instrumentalists provide accompaniment and support for the vocalists, and may also play solos and other featured parts. Singing bands can range in size from a small duo or trio to a large ensemble with multiple vocalists and instrumentalists. They can perform a variety of musical genres, including rock, pop, country, soul, and jazz. Some well-known singing bands include The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and The Eagles.
