When did john Lennon start his music career?
John Lennon began his music career in 1956 when he formed a skiffle group called The Quarrymen with some friends from Quarry Bank High School in Liverpool, England. The Quarrymen initially played covers of popular rock and roll songs, but Lennon soon began writing his own material. In 1960, The Quarrymen changed their name to The Beatles, and with the addition of Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, they embarked on a journey that would change the course of music history.
