"Throw Those Curtains Wide" was originally sung and released in 1963 by the American jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald, from her album Sings the Johnny Mercer Songbook. The song was written by Johnny Mercer and Harold Arlen for the 1938 film "St. Louis Blues."
