When started Elvis to sing?

Elvis Presley started singing at a very young age. He began singing in church when he was still a child, and he continued to sing in church throughout his childhood. He also sang with his family's gospel quartet. When he was 13, he won a talent show at Humes High School in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating from high school, he briefly attended Memphis State College before dropping out to pursue a singing career. He recorded his first single in 1954, and he released his debut album in 1956.
