When did Gary barlow learn to sing?

Gary Barlow has been singing since he was a child. He started singing in church with his father, who was a choirmaster. He later joined a local amateur dramatics group and then went on to study music at college. While he was at college, he formed a band with some friends called Take That. Take That went on to become one of the most successful boy bands of all time and Gary Barlow became the lead singer. Although Gary didn't receive any formal singing lessons through his childhood, he did get regular coaching and vocal training while working with Take That.
