Instructions

    • 1

Connect all power cables. Connect microphone cable to multitrack recording device's input. Connect headphones to headphone jack in recording device. Troubleshoot to be sure all equipment is functioning properly.

    • 2

On blank track press or select "Record" button (also often symbolized as a red circle) to begin recording. Once you are finished recording, press or select "Stop." Rewind and play back to see if you are satisfied with your recording.

    • 3

Listen to your voice track simultaneously as your prerecorded musical track. Each track has an independent volume that can be turned up or down until the desired blend is reached. This "places" the sound either forward (louder) or backward (quieter) in the recording.

Now place the tracks left or right using their independent pan features. Stereo music is recorded with a left and right channel. Pan allows you to "place" a track left or right in the recording.
