With over 25 years of experience, Cherry Beach Sound is one of the premier studios in Toronto. Part of the larger Munition Factory production facility, Cherry Beach Sound's client list is vast and includes Rush, 50 Cent, Marilyn Manson, Avril Lavigne, the Jonas Bros. and Ludacris. Both of Cherry Beach Sound's control rooms were designed by world-renowned acoustic engineer Martin Pilchner. According to the studio website, Control Room A "is the only control room in Canada with soffit-mounted Genelec surround main monitors." The studio offers mixing in Pro Tools HD, commercial production, audio enhancement and full mastering services. It also offers large rehearsal and warehouse space that groups like AC/DC and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have utilized. Cherry Beach Sound opened the Cherry Beach School of Music in 2008 to offer music classes to young students.

The Number 9 Audio Group has been providing audio services at Number 9 Recording Studios in Toronto since 1981. Housed in an old Victorian home, the studio holds two live floors, one general-purpose and another custom-made for its C. Bechstein Concert Grand piano. According to the studio website, the studio's "secret is adaptability." It offers a full-scale Pro Tools HD3 system as well as an assortment of vintage equipment. The studio utilizes classic equipment like Lexicon's 480L along with Pro Tools plug-ins. More than just a studio, it also offers many other services, including DVD and VD duplication and authoring, video editing and web development. Number 9's clientele is impressive and includes the Rolling Stones, Duran Duran, Island Records and a host of other bands and production companies.

Sting, Rihanna, Hilary Duff, Bono and Engelbert Humperdinck have all once called Phase One Studios in Toronto home. Opened in 1974, Phase One has been a part of more than 100 albums that have gone either gold or platinum. According to its website, the studio earns its reputation "by maintaining top notch equipment in excellent condition, having a skilled and down to earth staff, and looking after the large and small details that keep our clients relaxed and happy." Phase One offers fours studios, one each for recording, overdubs, mixing/mastering and post/mixing. Studio A, designed by George Augsperger, features 1,500 square feet of space, a 14-foot Neve console and a ProTools HD system. The studio also offers a huge variety of microphones, keyboards, compressors and effects.
