How to Import CD Text

Importing CDs into your music software program allows you to put music onto your MP3 player, burn it onto a blank CD or just keep it on your computer to listen to. The advantage of having the CD text when it is imported is that you can search through the track listing digitally without having to look at the liner notes. This is advantageous for cataloging digitally, and for playback on your MP3 player or stereo. Usually your music software, such as iTunes or Windows Media Player, will add the titles to your songs as soon as the CD is imported, provided that your computer is connected to the Internet and set up for this function.
