How to Hook up a Mixer to a Mac to Record Vocals With a Mic

Every Mac computer includes an on-board sound card and audio input port. This means that your audio mixer can be connected directly to the computer without the need for a third-party audio interface. You can connect the mixer to your computer by using an RCA converter cable. This cable transmits the stereo output signal of mixer into an audio signal that can be picked up by a recording program inside your computer.
