How do you install an emg pickup on a guitar but the has one only?

Step 1: Gather your tools and materials:

* Soldering iron

* Solder

* Phillips head screwdriver

* Flat head screwdriver

* Wire strippers

* EMG pickup

* Wiring diagram for your guitar (available online or from EMG)

Step 2: Remove the old pickup

1. Unscrew the mounting screws that hold the pickup in place.

2. Disconnect the pickup wires from the volume and tone controls.

3. Remove the pickup from the pickup route.

Step 3: Prepare the EMG pickup

1. Solder the red wire from the EMG pickup to the hot lug on the volume control.

2. Solder the black wire from the EMG pickup to the ground lug on the volume control.

3. Solder the green wire from the EMG pickup to the output jack.

Step 4: Install the EMG pickup

1. Place the EMG pickup into the pickup route.

2. Screw the mounting screws into place to secure the pickup.

3. Connect the output jack to the input jack on your guitar.

Step 5: Test the pickup

1. Plug your guitar into an amplifier.

2. Play your guitar and check for sound.
