As of January 2023, the Guinness World Record for the fastest typing speed by a child is held by Harshit Gupta, a 12-year-old boy from India. On 23 May 2022, Gupta achieved a typing speed of 265 words per minute (WPM) on a standard English text, using the typing software Keybr.
