How do you remove vocals and keep music on sony acid pro?

Step 1: Import your audio file into Sony Acid Pro

1. Open Sony Acid Pro.

2. Click on the "File" menu and select "Import Audio."

3. Locate the audio file you want to remove vocals from and click on the "Open" button.

Step 2: Split the audio file into two tracks

1. Right-click on the audio file in the timeline and select "Split Stereo to Mono."

2. This will create two new tracks, one for the left channel and one for the right channel.

Step 3: Apply the Center Channel Extractor effect to the left channel

1. Click on the "Effects" menu and select "Center Channel Extractor."

2. This will open the Center Channel Extractor dialog box.

3. In the "Mode" section, select "Remove Center."

4. Click on the "OK" button.

Step 4: Apply the Center Channel Extractor effect to the right channel

1. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the right channel.

Step 5: Adjust the volume levels of the left and right channels

1. Click on the "Mixer" button in the toolbar.

2. In the Mixer, adjust the volume levels of the left and right channels so that the music is at the desired level.

Step 6: Save the audio file

1. Click on the "File" menu and select "Save As."

2. In the "Save As" dialog box, select a location to save the audio file and enter a name for the file.

3. Click on the "Save" button.
