- A Phillips head screwdriver
- A flat head screwdriver or pry tool
Instructions:
1. Turn off the radio and ignition. This will prevent any damage to the radio or your vehicle's electrical system.
2. Remove the trim panel around the radio. There are usually four Phillips head screws that hold the trim panel in place.
3. Locate the release tabs on the radio. There are usually two release tabs, one on each side of the radio.
4. Insert the flat head screwdriver or pry tool into the release tabs and pry them outward. This will release the radio from its mounting brackets.
5. Pull the radio out of the dashboard. Be careful not to damage the radio or the wiring harness.
6. Disconnect the wiring harness from the radio. There are usually two or three connectors that need to be disconnected.
7. Remove the radio from the vehicle.
Here are some additional tips for removing a Citroen radio:
- If you have trouble finding the release tabs, you can use a flashlight to help you see them.
- Be careful not to damage the trim panel or the wiring harness when removing the radio.
- If you are not comfortable removing the radio yourself, you can take your vehicle to a qualified technician for assistance.
