To wire an Astatic D104 microphone to a Siltronix 1011D radio, you will need the following materials:

* Astatic D104 microphone

* Siltronix 1011D radio

* 2-conductor shielded cable (such as RG-58)

* Soldering iron and solder

* Wire strippers

* Phillips head screwdriver

Instructions:

1.Disconnect the power from the Siltronix 1011D radio.

2.Remove the cover of the radio.

3.Locate the microphone jack on the radio. It will typically be a 1/4-inch TRS (three-conductor) jack.

4.Strip the ends of the 2-conductor shielded cable about 1/4 inch.

5.Connect the shield wire of the cable to the ground terminal of the microphone jack.

6.Connect the other conductor of the cable to the tip terminal of the microphone jack.

7.Solder the connections in place.
