How to Replace the Battery on a Casio PX700 Privia Piano

The Casio Privia PX-700 is a compact digital piano manufactured and sold by Casio. It is marketed as a high-end practice piano that can replicate the dynamic tone and touch response of a mechanical piano. Though it contains a full keyboard, the PX-700 is very compact with a width of only 32 inches. The PX-700 features a long-life rechargeable lithium battery. The battery has a minimum performance lifespan of five years, and should function properly for much longer with the right care. If your PX-700 battery is malfunctioning, you may need to contact Casio about replacement options.

Instructions

Test your AC adapter to ensure that it is still properly providing power to the PX-700 battery. Remove the battery from the back of the PX-700 and plug the piano into AC power. If the PX-700 powers on with the battery removed, then the AC adapter is functioning properly. If the PX-700 does not power on, then it is likely that the AC adapter is broken or malfunctioning.
