What is the origin of name led zeppelin?

The name Led Zeppelin originated from a comment made by The Who's drummer Keith Moon. During a 1968 US tour by The New Yardbirds (Jimmy Page's new group after the demise of The Yardbirds), Moon jokingly said the group would "go down like a lead zeppelin". After a short while as 'The New Yardbirds,' the members decided on the name Led Zeppelin for the very fact that it represented both their musical heaviness and a great airship carrying them on a majestic musical journey.
