From where did trumpets originate?
Trumpets are believed to have originated from early musical instruments such as animal horns and conch shells which were used as signalling devices before they evolved into more sophisticated brass instruments. The earliest known trumpets that closely resemble contemporary versions date back to ancient Egypt around 1500 BCE where they were straight with a slightly flared bell.
