Tools and Materials Needed:
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Speaker wire
- Crimp connectors
- New speakers (6.5-inch)
Procedure:
1. Remove the rear seat cushion by pulling it upwards.
2. Remove the plastic trim panel covering the speaker by prying it off with a flathead screwdriver.
3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the four screws holding the speaker in place.
4. Disconnect the speaker wires by squeezing the plastic connectors and pulling them apart.
5. Attach the new speaker wires to the new speakers using crimp connectors.
6. Secure the new speakers in place using the four screws removed in step 3.
7. Reinstall the plastic trim panel and rear seat cushion.
Note: Ensure the new speakers are properly connected to the correct speaker terminals, positive to positive and negative to negative. Double-check all connections before turning on the audio system.
