Do brass instruments all have reeds?

Brass instruments do not have reeds. Reeds are thin pieces of wood, metal, or cane used to produce sound in woodwind and reed instruments. Brass instruments produce sound when the player's vibrating lips cause the air in the instrument to vibrate.
