When was the Trumpet first created?
The Trumpet's origins date back to the Bronze Age, around 3000 BC. Early trumpets were made from natural materials such as seashells, hollowed-out animal horns, and wooden tubes, and were used for signaling and ceremonial purposes. Over time, metal trumpets were developed, with the first metal trumpets appearing in the Middle East and Egypt around 1500 BC. These early metal trumpets were made of bronze and were straight, with a flared bell. The trumpet then evolved over the centuries, with the addition of valves and other mechanisms allowing for greater control over pitch and tone. By the 19th century, the Trumpet had reached the form that we know today.
