What parts does a drum have?

The basic parts of a drum kit include:

1. Drums:

- Bass drum (a.k.a. kick drum): large drum played with a foot pedal

- Snare drum: cylindrical-shaped drum with snares that create a distinctive cracking sound

- Tom-toms (a.k.a. toms): various sizes of cylindrical drums
