How do you change notes on the french horn?

The French horn is played by buzzing into a mouthpiece and changing the pitch of the notes by pressing one of several valves with the left hand. This changes the length of the tubing, which in turn changes the pitch. The right hand is used to stop the bell, which also changes the pitch. Some notes can also be played by changing the shape of the lips to change the harmonic played.
