Materials:
* Paper
* Pencil
* Eraser
* Ruler (optional)
Instructions:
1. Draw a rectangle. The rectangle should be about twice as long as it is wide.
2. Divide the rectangle in half lengthwise. This will be the center of the trumpet.
3. Draw two circles, one on each side of the center line. The circles should be about the same size, but the one on the right should be slightly larger. These will be the bells of the trumpet.
4. Connect the two circles with a curved line. This is the body of the trumpet.
5. Draw a mouthpiece at the top of the trumpet. The mouthpiece should be about the same size as the circles.
6. Draw two valves on the body of the trumpet. The valves should be about halfway between the mouthpiece and the bell.
7. Draw two slides on the body of the trumpet. The slides should be about the same size as the valves.
8. Add details to the trumpet, such as the buttons on the valves and the engravings on the bell.
9. Color your trumpet.
