What made the zeppelin fly?

Zeppelins flew because of the principles of aerodynamics. They had streamlined bodies that reduced air resistance and were filled with a lighter-than-air gas called hydrogen. The hydrogen gas provided lift to the zeppelin, allowing it to rise and float in the air. The zeppelins also had engines and propellers that provided the power to move forward.
