Introduction
The Fender Bassman 100 PR and 420 are powerful and versatile bass amplifiers. They are perfect for everything from small clubs to large arenas. This user guide will help you get the most out of your Bassman amplifier.
Front Panel Controls
Input
The input jack is where you connect your bass guitar.
Gain
The gain control adjusts the amount of distortion added to the signal.
Volume
The volume control adjusts the overall volume of the amplifier.
EQ
The EQ section allows you to adjust the bass, mid, and treble frequencies.
Contour
The contour control adjusts the overall tone of the amplifier.
Effects Loop

Getting Started
To get started, connect your bass guitar to the input jack and your speakers to the speaker outputs. Turn on the amplifier and adjust the gain, volume, and EQ controls to taste.
Using the Effects Loop
To use the effects loop, connect your effects pedals or rack units to the send and return jacks on the rear panel of the amplifier. Adjust the level control to taste.
Using the Headphone Output
To use the headphone output, connect a pair of headphones to the headphone jack on the front panel of the amplifier.
