The lowest note on the standard flute is C4, which has a frequency of 261.63 Hz. However, some extended-range flutes can go even lower, such as the bass flute or the contrabass flute. The bass flute has a range that extends down to C3, while the contrabass flute can play as low as C1, which has a frequency of 32.7 Hz.
