* A pair of wire cutters

2. Prepare the guitar.
-Loosen the strings on your guitar.
-Remove the bridge pins from the bridge.
- Remove the old string from the tuning peg and sound hole.
3. Insert the new string. Feed the new string through the sound hole.
- Slide the string end through bridge pin hole.
- Secure the string with a bridge pin.
- Bring the string over the guitar nut.
- Wind the string around the tuning peg.
4. Tune the string. Use the string winder to turn the tuning peg and adjust the string's pitch.
-Tune the string to the desired pitch using a tuner.
5. Trim the excess string. Use the wire cutters to trim the excess string.
- Leave a few inches of slack so you can tune the string again if necessary.
