What is c flat on a clarinet?

The note C♭ (C-flat) on a clarinet is fingered as follows:

1. Use the same fingering as for the note C (all tone holes covered).

2. Lift your left-hand first finger (the one that covers the speaker key).

This lowering the pitch of the note by a semitone (half step).
